February 8th - Whitewater, WI
UW-Whitewater hosted Lakeland College in their first home match of the season. Key mistakes were made by both teams throughout the game making it an exciting five set match. The Warhawks were the first to make an error after they tossed away the first set after being up 23-21 giving up four straight points. Lakeland made the next mistake, they were up 19-18 in second set losing 7 of the next 8 points. Whitewater looked like they forgot how to play volleyball, getting embarrassed in the third set. The Warhawks only scored 2 consecutive points in a row once, the rest of the time the hawks served one and were done. Whitewater repayed the favor of the first set winning the fourth set after being down 21-23. The fifth set was a thriller with both teams trading points back and forth. Whitewater trailing 12-13 made one final push winning the next three points to take the match.

February 5th - Platteville, WI
The Warhawks traveled to Platteville to finish off their road trip and their third WVC match in four days. Whitewater came out strong winning the first two sets. The hawks then got to comfy and lost the next two sets. Whitewater fought back and won the fifth set 15-11. Freshman Middle, Jake Amend, led the team hitting a 0.375%. Joe Doperalski followed closely with a 0.318%. Jeff Potts led the team with 15 kills. Keith Scheckel added 40 assists.

February 4th - Menomonie, WI
UW-Stout hosted the Warhawks in their second and final meeting in the WVC. Whitewater previously won the first match 3-0. However, the Blue Devils came ready to play this time around. Dan Wittke continued his success against Stout with another great day. He led the team with 17 kills and hit 0.394%, added 3 aces and tallied 7 digs. Deion Burks also added 7 digs to give him 30 on the season. Keith Scheckel tossed out 38 assists and led the team with 13 digs. Whitewater battled throughout the match but lost three tightly contested sets losing in four.

February 2nd - Oshkosh, WI
UW-Whitewater headed back to Oshkosh this time to actually face the defending national chamipions in a WVC match up and one of three matches in the next four days. The Warhawks headed into the match with a 1-1 record in conference. They left 1-2 after losing to UW-Oshkosh in three straight sets. As a team, the Warhawks hit only could manage a 0.103 hitting percentage. Deion Burks led the team with 7 digs and Keith Scheckel had 18 assists.

January 28th - Oshkosh, WI
The Warhawks traveled to UW-Oshkosh for the conference opening play date. UW-Whitewater faced UW-Lacrosse and UW-Stout. The Warhawks started slowly in the opening set against UW-Lacrosse. However, they bounced back, winning an exciting 34-32 second set. Whitewater went on to win the third set but lost the fourth. UW-Whitewater eventually lost the match in five in a closely fought battle. Dan Wittke led the team with 19 kills and a 0.406 hitting percentage. Keith Scheckel added 46 assists and Deion Burks tallied 10 digs. Jake Amend had 3 blocking assists and 2 solo blocks. As a team, the hawks hit a 0.179%.
UW-Whitewater faced UW-Stout next in their second conference match of the season. This match was finished in three, with the Warhawks winning the match. Dan Wittke led the team with 12 kills and a 0.400 hitting percentage. Keith Scheckel added 40 assists and led the team with 7 digs. Nine different people recorded digs for the Warhawks and as a team they had 33.

December 3rd - Plymouth, WI
UW-Whitewater will head to Lakeland College this Saturday for the WVC Kickoff Pre-Season Tournament. The Warhawks finished third in the conference last year with a 9-5 record. They hope to improve on that record and try to make a run at the conference title.
